Happy Teriyaki (100th Street) - Experience Authentic Japanese Cuisine in Lakewood

We were happy the restaurant was open on Sunday! Really great food and fairly reasonable prices. We love the Bento Boxes, sushi, and tempura. Well- worth a visit !

First time here and we were all very impressed! We got the Dish 1 option to share (“serves 3-4”), monkey brain, kimchi, and egg drop soup! With 4 of us it was wayyyy too much food so will feed us 1-2 more meals at home with leftovers. Presentation was great, service was great and very attentive, and the restaurant was clean. We ended up spending $100 total including tip so about $25 each and it’s the gift that will keep on giving. My food snob friend said that the kimchi was the best they’ve had and raved about the almond chicken (I’m not a huge fan of either in general but they were good). We will be back!

Reliable, delicious standard food served fast. They offer a bento style family meal that has something for everyone and is the best deal for the amount of food around! Service is always quick and friendly with a smile.

I was in town visiting family and thought of giving this place a try. For lunch I ordered the chicken and Mongolian beef. Good cuts of chicken though I wished the was seared/grilled more and with more sauce and marinaded. Mongolian beef had the right seasoning though more than 3/4 of the portion was gristle. Maybe I came as an 'off day' and left unimpressed. Clean, air conditioning room, friendly service, and a bowl of soup while I waited were a few pluses.

Had the Ahi Tuna Poke (raw), which comes with miso soup, and some Sapporo beer. Delicious! Portion was much more than I could handle personally. There’s rice underneath those greens. I only gave a 4 star to food because someone in my party wondered about the meat quality of the Mongolian beef (what grade/part of animal).

My husband and I absolutely love this place we stumbled upon it one day and have literally been obsessed with it ever since. Their customer service is great and every single time we go the food is so fresh and tasty. Never fails. This is our home teriyaki and sushi spot FOREVER. Such a gem

I had beef teriyaki. My wife ate teriyaki chicken. We definitely expected less from this place but were quickly blown away. The food is flavorful, and the portions are large. We will most definitely be going back.

Great place for some delicious sushi! Place is nice and laid back. Staff are friendly! What we ordered: Lion King Roll and Happy bento box with Katsu and California roll Sushi was very fresh! The seaweed was very delicate and not chewy at all, which I love! Bento box had a lot of variety! It came with a choice of protein (katsu, teriyaki, beef, etc) two gyozas, 1 shrimp tempura, mixed vegetable tempura, rice, and a side salad which came with one of the best vinaigrettes I've ever had in my life! Prices weren't too high either. I would definitely recommend trying this place if you live nearby and want some fresh, tasty sushi! Certified Bussin'
